Bowhead Whale

How to start the fight：Complete the island NPC request for five creatures, install the Fish Bucket reward on your fishing rod, and cast into the water.

Objective after the fight：Carry the defeated Bowhead Whale to the crater and throw it in. After defeating the mutated whale, use the military boat to return home.

Preparation and fight walkthrough

1. Before catching the Bowhead Whale, prepare upgraded weapons, ammunition, and food. Place some food on the ground near the fight so you can eat without spending time changing inventory slots.
2. During the first fight, remain close beneath the whale while it stays on the ground. Move away when it launches or begins a body slam, then return when the attack ends.
3. After defeating the Bowhead Whale, pick up its body and follow the path to the crater rim. Throw the body into the crater to begin the second phase.
4. The mutated whale creates lava pools on the ground. Watch where the lava appears and move to a clear area immediately. Stay close while the whale is grounded, but create distance whenever it launches.
5. Defeating the mutated whale completes the final boss fight. Board the military boat and drive back to the mainland to finish the main story.
